RE: The Adsactly Files 1.2 - Learn ICO with Me

in #blockchain8 years ago

I support that you raised your voice against it but you have mentioned innocent people in here who were trapped by Aios just like you. The only difference is that they posted an article about it before it came into light that Aios is a scam. They are on the same page as you and they are neither in the team of AIOS nor do they support it. If they do not want to waste all their efforts they put in writing a post and do not want to delete their post and chaos/mess their wall by putting a deleted post, then please don't force or flag them. If you actually truly want to support the cause then target the Aios team, not the ones who just wrote an article about it some days back.

I hope you carry enough logical sense to distinguish between them and i hope you are intelligent enough to understand what I am trying to inform here.

Sort:

I have zero knowledge or interest in AIOS or its ICO and found about it after @isacoin used @ here tag on steemit.chat.

While usually I find such behavior ( attention seeking ) repulsive, In this case I am thankful for it.

I don't think that at this point the posts regarding AIOS deserve flagging.

Better way of doing things :
The people that had written about the ICO should be given time to edit their posts and at least mention the possibility of AIOS being a scam, on the base that the people doing the ICO are anonymous, use stock photos as their faces, and can not be found on any site with serious identity checking ( like LinkedIn.com ).

Only after that we could start talking about flags for the ones that didn't edit their posts.

You cannot ask someone to change what they post on their personal blog !!! It is their will !!

I am sorry if what I wrote came out like that.
I was not advocating for us to force anyone to edit their posts against their will.

I tried pointing out that on Steem, there are other options than the flag hammer.

The cool part is - you could always update your posts and address any issue that came after you've made them.

And in this case your update can skip the scam part and just point out that, as an example - you like the project, or that you joined not by putting money, but sweat. Or you could add (as many traders do) that your opinion shouldn't be taken as investment advice.

There are a lot of ways to stay positive and conflict free.

Yeah we know what is the cool part and we know how to edit but if someone believes that aios is not scam. so is it right to say you have to remove that post otherwise I will flag you and by the way who are you to point anyone or give time to edit thier post ,its people wil whether they want to remove thier post or not.steemit is decentalised and let it be and don't try to become its centre of attraction or try to handle it .

I think flagging a personal opinion
without at least trying to discuss it,
is not right.

In such cases I prefer 'agreeing to disagree'.

i believe all were commented on and promotion of @cryptick post was spread between there circles since all are connected,
they can remove if they are worried about flags probably wouldn't be an issue,
leaving the posts after @cryptick commented is,
also @tech-trends flagging the comments @cryptick left says was known well what they were doing.

You cannot ask someone to write or delete something on their personal blog. It's their wish. You can say when they again post anything about it. I said above , seems like you didn't read my comment CAREFULLY, so will say again!! What about their efforts in writing the post? Can you give them their efforts and time back if they delete their post? Or can you clear their wall with one post saying - "Deleted". If you can do that, I bet and guarantee that everyone of them will delete it .

if its a obvious scam whose details have been shown and they dont remove themselves should be flagged because regular people who will see will use link and may invest getting robbed,
to say a scam promotion should be left because their was work involved and looked good makes no sense,
scams shouldn't be allowed to be promoted full stop,
yes it is easy to edit and put message like this a few users have already

Or you could start with writing a comment on the posts,
expressing your opinion.

While flagging obvious scam promotion is something that I support, attacking people that share their personal experience,
without trying to discuss it, as part of the comments to their posts
is not something that I'd do.

well over 15 users involved,
this is an organised promotion of this scam and im sure all are getting paid to do so.
who wouldn't remove content that was once thought to be legit but was commented on by another user 2 days ago informing whos comments were then flagged down and hidden from view,
who be the right thing to do if weren't in it for the money
