Outlast 1 | There are experiments and paranormal things in the psychiatric hospital

I have continued to play Outlast 1 and without a doubt, the fat giant guy that I mentioned in the previous article is the most intense enemy of the game. Several times one finds him and you always have to plan your movements so that he doesn't catch us. In Outlast, unlike other horror games such as The Evil Within or Resident Evil, we cannot defend ourselves against enemies, all we can do is try to escape and hide.

I plan to take a good screenshot showing this giant fat guy but for the moment the screenshot I have is this where he is very far away:

In this place it seems that in addition to some sinister experiments, there are also characters who are involved in religious fanaticism, rituals, and the like. There is a moment outside the building where the game shows us what appears to be a ghost or perhaps some paranormal being.

And one of the asylum freaks calls himself "father", I still haven't been able to get to the point of the game where I guess he explains his beliefs, but I feel that this moment is very close. For now, that character seems the less crazy of all.

I must also say that most of the crazy people inside the building are harmless, they don't attack or anything. Only a few of them do it and it is usually easy to get rid of them. The only one that can give problems is the giant fat, which by the way, is the one that appears in the first image of this post.

I think I have already completed more than 50% of the story (not counting the DLC) and I liked it. The mechanics of the game are simple because the only thing that we collect is batteries for the night vision, and documents that explain the history of this place. But basically sometimes it's like playing hide-and-seek with the fat giant or some other enemy, such as a rather macabre doctor who luckily has already died.

In youtube there are many videos showing reactions and that can be scary when the giant appears while we use the night vision and he starts to chase you, but in my opinion, and although this game is quite good, it is not my favorite of the genre. That honor so far goes to The Evil Within 1 (not the 2) for reasons that I will explain in another article. Anyway, I still have a lot of Outlast to explore (the Whistleblower and Outlast 2 DLC)
