The diary game || Better life with steem|| A visit to an Art Gallery

Yesterday, while returning from Malampuzha, I spotted the Art Gallery of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi along the way. Deciding to take a look inside, we parked the car and entered. We were immediately struck by the feeling that we had arrived at a truly magnificent museum. The Akademi building itself was constructed in the style of traditional Kerala architecture, and numerous stone sculptures were displayed at the entrance.

All of these sculptures—each crafted entirely from a single block of stone—were exquisite handmade creations. A staff member informed us that these works were created by students studying at the Lalithakala Akademi. One particular sculpture was crafted to resemble a cylindrical stone resting upon a leaf, which in turn rested upon a larger stone base; another sculpture was fashioned from a single piece of stone to resemble a chain.

After viewing all of that, we went inside. Inside, there were numerous wooden sculptures; they had all been carved within the span of a single month. Crafted with exquisite artistic precision, the sculptures were truly a sight to behold.

Carved into it was a magnificent sculpture depicting three figures standing in various costumes that reflected the local culture; we marveled at this exquisite artwork, and I took a photograph of it. Afterward, we proceeded inside to the room housing the paintings, where we viewed the artworks on display. There were numerous paintings, including many portraits of Mahatma Gandhi, and I took photographs there as well.

Since there were numerous paintings there—and viewing them all required a considerable amount of time—we took our time, examining each one leisurely. I took many photographs and have saved them. As it is not possible to include all of them in a single post, I plan to share more of them tomorrow in a similar update.
