Seems to be part of human nature to be very mistrustful of new ways of doing things, and then to even go as far as to call them scams. I remember in the early days of the Internet, lots of people called it "creepy" and claimed it would never go anywhere, other than as a toy for nerds and a handful of academics.

Yes, we humans being, when we are used to a particular way of doing things we tend to think that there is no other way of doing it except the way we are used too. Funny!!!
