We all know about our goal, again many do not know, but want. So when we tell someone, we are more likely to stick to them. This is especially important for big goals. Think of small goals on the way to achieving your big goals. Sometimes our big goals are a bit vague like 'I want to be healthy'. Breaking these down helps us to be more specific. So a small goal might be to go for a regular run or even be able to run around the park in 20 minutes without stopping. Write down your small goals and try to set some dates to do it. Having several small goals makes each of them a little easier and gives us a sense of accomplishment along the way, which makes us more likely to move towards bigger goals.
