RE: CineAtlas 60 | Week 4 - Object as Character | [ Government Mujib College Shahid Minar / Noakhali]
Evaluation — CineAtlas 60 (Week 4: Object as Character)
Post: @mhmaruf — "CineAtlas 60 | Week 4 - Object as Character | Government Mujib College Shahid Minar / Noakhali"
Evaluation Summary (Week 4)
| Criteria (Rubric /10) | Score | Short Comments |
|---|---|---|
| 1) Weekly rule respected (Object as Character + 20–60 sec + required links) / 3 | 2.7 / 3.0 | All required links and SteemAtlas pin are present. The Shahid Minar is clearly treated as the central subject. Minor deduction as a monument is on the boundary between an object and a place, though the cinematic treatment justifies the choice. |
| 2) Story clarity & creativity / 2 | 1.8 / 2.0 | Strong symbolic narrative the Minar is presented as a silent guardian of language and memory. The message is clear and emotionally resonant. Could have been slightly more concise in the written part. |
| 3) Video execution (framing, stability, focus, visual impact) / 2 | 1.7 / 2.0 | Multiple angles, close-ups, and sad background music all serve the theme well. The photo captions reveal a good understanding of shot types. Slight deduction as the overall rhythm and transitions of the video could be more cinematic. |
| 4) SteemAtlas pin quality (relevant description + correct location) / 1 | 0.9 / 1.0 | Precise coordinates and Google Plus Code provided. Location is well identified and contextualised. |
| 5) Presentation (photos, clean structure) / 1 | 1.0 / 1.0 | Twelve well-captioned photos with clear shot descriptions, a clean information table, and a well-organised layout. Excellent presentation. |
| 6) Engagement (Shot Breakdown comments on others) / 1 | 0.8 / 1.0 | Three comment links provided. Small deduction as the breakdown content is not reproduced in the post to confirm analytical depth. |
Final Score: 8.9 / 10
General Comment
One of the stronger entries of Week 4. The Shahid Minar is a meaningful and well-justified choice, it carries history, emotion, and symbolic weight, which aligns perfectly with the Object as Character concept. The diverse shot angles and sad music reinforce the cinematic intention. The presentation is the best seen so far in this batch. A slightly tighter edit and more deliberate camera movement in the video would make this a near-perfect entry.
