Life Sure Does Hurt
@imaginedragon and I decided to take Snow and Dregon to the beach Saturday. Neither of them has ever been to the beach and with Dre being autistic we were not sure what to expect. He absolutely hates to be dirty and has often rejected certain toys based on how they feel.
As parent's, we don't want to exclude him from any activity until we know rather he will or will not enjoy it.
I am overly pleased to say this is the most fun I have seen my son have in a long time. We played in the sand for about an hour before we ventured off to the ocean itself. I was not sure how he would react to the ocean but after seeing how much he loved the sand it was the next logical step.
He was in love with the ocean even more. Snow wanted to get out after the second wave crashed over us. Dregon was an entirely different story. As the waves crashed over us he just giggled and if water went in his mouth he would just simply say "yuck" between giggling.
Upon leaving the beach he threw his first real temper tantrum. As many of you know Dre basically never cries over anything.
Almost a full hour of crying, until we stopped for pizza and candy.
As for the title of the post, I am just getting back up from the trip. I went to sleep on Saturday after a hefty handful of pain meds. I have slept for at least 36 hours and still feel like complete shit from head to toe. I wanted to throw this post out before possibly returning to bed.
It's gotta be fun watching something you didn't expect much from turn out this way... That brings me relatable joy as a parent! Get better soon old friend :)

That's it, you can't move to another cold country, you need go somewhere warm where you can have beach days all year round!
Daddy and babies do love the beach but mommy gets the final say.
And mommy likes winter, I know that. Damn that woman!

i sense unfairness... everyone RC replenishes at the same speed.
but those who have it more it replenishes faster and they can do more.
but me with less it just takes forever to recharge and i cant do anything. not even vote. cos it too costs RC its nonesense.
There is no need to pray for my boy, he is perfect the way he is. The adjustment is on my wife and I. He is our happiest child 99% of the time and we often wish we could see the world as he does. We are very happy he loves the beach as he does.
You now have your answer: Dre loves the beach so much that having to leave it causes him to have a meltdown!!! Sounds as if you're going to have a lot of great times at the beach in the future...
Not sure I will get that much beach time in but he sure will. My body can not handle the park and walk let alone the walk in the sand with how my back is.
