Hello everyone! I come to participate in week 6 with the theme: “Creative Interpretation| The Concept -Becoming”

Create a final piece inspired by the concept Becoming.

I walk in the rain without haste; others would run for shelter, but I want that water to cleanse my mind and thus finally be able to feel a carefree moment, in the company of the rain, the cold breeze and the sound of the falling water.

My decision might seem illogical, but it's the inspiration I need. With each step, my mind begins to clear; perhaps I'm simply afraid of the future, or maybe it's my deep-seated fear of failure and making mistakes.

Each firm step propels me toward an uncertain future; I know I can't predict or change my story, but I can live in the present. Let the path be filled with struggles, but without losing myself and my dreams, because obsessively pursuing them only consumes me in an endless abyss.

After the storm, the light always comes out; so, may this storm be a good omen and symbolize joy and new beginning, without pressure or self-imposed demands.

My heart won't stop beating; I feel like a butterfly that can finally open its wings and fly into the unknown without fear of the future or failure, just living in the present and accepting myself as I am.

What transformation is taking place in your interpretation?

Well, it's being liberated; it's moving confidently toward a future, without fear, since fear is also a major barrier that prevents progress; these barriers include self-imposed demands, standards, and perspectives.

Perhaps she will not achieve the future she planned, but she will live her present comfortably, and from acceptance came her transformation, as well as personal growth, self-understanding, and a feeling of freedom she had never experienced before.

What challenges arise during this process?

The challenge of uncertainty arises, of not knowing which path to take, and it is there that she loses herself and feels she isn't doing enough to improve herself. The problems in her life corner her, preventing her from seeing a way out, causing her to spend more time figuring out how to solve or change things than actually living.

But suddenly, in the midst of the storm, she feels confident; she can face it with firm steps, without fear of falling, only determination, acceptance, and the desire to be free and move forward.

Sometimes all it takes is a single event to change course; it doesn't necessarily have to be extraordinary, perhaps just an everyday moment at the exact time to change everything.

How does your work relate to your personal growth or your vision?

Well, I was inspired by an experience I had a few years ago; I remember going through a difficult time, one of those times when you're searching for answers or a path, but you find nothing; waiting becomes torture and uncertainty is a daily reality.

In one of my searches, after leaving everything behind three times and starting over, I was attending classes for a new degree program. Night fell, and I had to take a route that was very dangerous due to the insecurity. I remember being very sick with terrible sinusitis.

And at that moment, I ran through the rain. It was pitch black, illuminated only by the headlights of passing cars. I don't know, but that moment was liberating. I felt as free as a child running in the rain. I didn't think about the danger, the responsibilities, the fever I had, or the weakness; I just had an energy I didn't know I possessed.

That made me realize I was searching for an answer, a solution to a problem, but the truth is, that search was what was stressing me out and holding me back. I decided not to dwell on it, not to push myself too hard, just to live in the moment and try to keep fighting for my goals. Thinking about the future can also define the present and cause you to miss moments that can never be recovered.
