Bitcoin VS Altcoins - Which Will Perform Better Next Bull Cycle?
With everyone being a Bitcoin Maximalist these days, I can't help but think there might be some incredible opportunities to invest in some of the better altcoins over the next year or so (if they're capable of surviving this bear market).
Also, in this video I discuss whether it will be Bitcoin or the altcoins that deliver better returns for investors heading into the next bull market cycle.

Agree with the concept that many of the altcoins will have better relative performance given the room to develop and grow in technology and adoption. However, I do believe it will ben limited to a small subset of assets that are govern properly to survive the bear market.

Altcoins always perform better than bitcoin in a bull run. Even shit coins

This.
It's simple math.
Shitcoins don't have the liquidity to buffer a spike in either direction.
Why are we assuming that dumb money isn't going to run rampant again?
Crypto is confusing and no one on the planet truly understands it due to its emergent network effects.
Correct only the best projects will go moon as bitcoin, in my case now i'm buying the projects i feel are making something important and helping to solve real problems. Regards
@louisthomas Brother Bitcoin and Altcoin are making both shirts right now

Be careful not to get stuck into a mindset of unit bias. "Expensive" coins have just as good a chance as increasing in value as "cheap" coins.
At the same time unit bias is a real thing and I suppose you are just factoring it in to the average newbie's psyche.
I'd also like to point out that you don't necessarily need fiat to gain value. Liquidity can disappear at any moment. If people simply decide they don't want to sell anymore the price will go up without anyone buying.
Depends on second tier scaling solutions gaining ground in BTC.
My guess (didn't watch the video, I have time to quickly skim posts but not for watching videos) at start of the move bitcoin will outperform. Later in the cycle, altcoins will outperform.
For me an alt-coin needs to do something that BTC can't , or do something much better than BTC and have a sustainable ecosystem. Frankly I do not see many such coins in the alt-coin universe. Instead what I see is a lot of vapour ware coins based on some "dodgy" white paper, that have no credible technology road map, and no developer network to make that road map happen. Worse many of these coins have huge pre-mines so the only people getting rich are the founders when they exit at the expense of the investors.
Bitcoin will start it. I've been looking at quality projects like Decred and ZCash.
hey thanks for sharing!
