Actions Teach Louder
Daybook March 19
This reflection explores role modeling, hidden curriculum, and how educator behavior shapes nursing culture.
Students observe more than they listen.
Culture is transmitted through behavior.
When educators demonstrate calm, respect, and fairness,
those qualities become normalized.
When impatience or humiliation is modeled,
those behaviors replicate.
Leadership is embodied, not announced.
One Line for Nurses and Learners:
Model the culture you hope to see.
