Daybook January 29

Students often rise to meet the expectations set for them. High yet realistic standards, paired with support, build confidence and achievement in nursing education.

Lowering expectations does not protect students.
It limits them.

But unrealistic expectations do not inspire either.
They exhaust.

Effective educators set standards that challenge—and support.
When students see the goal as reachable, they commit fully to reaching it.

Expectation is not pressure.
It is a promise that growth is possible.

One Line for Nurses & Learners Today:
Expect growth—and support it.
