Nature in Costa Rica

My vacation in Costa Rica was a few years ago, I think in 2013, but it is always nice to see the pictures. I was there with friends as a backpacker. What can I say, it was the most beautiful country I have seen until then. Flora and fauna. Only New Zealand could top that a few years later. This is a trip to a waterfall that you could visit in the rainforest.

Mein Urlaub in Costa Rica ist zwar schon ein paar Jahre her, ich glaube 2013, aber es ist immer wieder schön die Bilder zu sehen. Ich war damals mit Freunden als Backpacker dort. Was soll ich sagen, es war das schönste Land, was ich bis dahin gesehen habe. Flora und Fauna. Nur New Zealand konnte das ein paar Jahre später toppen. Das hier ist ein Ausflug zu einem Wasserfall, den man im Regenwald besichtigen konnte.

Over a bridge to touch as little ground as possible, you could walk into the forest on a path.	Über eine Brücke um möglichst wenig Boden zu berühren, konnte man in den Wald auf einem Pfad laufen.

Beautiful. What fascinated me most about Costa Rica at that time was the fact that the government abolished its army and used the money to preserve the rainforests. Well, in today's time and week I am not sure if this is the right thought. Although, the way is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, not everyone understands that.	Wunderschön. Was mich am meisten an Costa Rica damals fasziniert hat, war die Tatsache das die Regierung ihre Armee abgeschafft hat, und die Gelder in zum erhalten der Regenwälder eingesetzt hat. Tja, in der heutigen Zeit bzw. Woche bin ich mir nicht mehr sicher ob das ein richtiger Gedanke ist. Obwohl, der Weg ist der absolut richtige. Nur leider kapieren das nicht alle.

Costa Rica was at least at that time one of the third world countries. So actually the poorest of the poor. But in a list in which it is about the satisfaction of the people, they were I think in second place. We Germans were far behind at that time. Money doesn't really make you happy.	Costa Rica zählte zumindest damals zu einem der dritte Welt Länder. Also eigentlich die Ärmsten der Armen. Aber in einer Liste in der es um die Zufriedenheit der Menschen geht, waren sie glaube ich auf Platz 2. Wir Deutschen waren damals weit hinten abgeschlagen. Geld macht einen halt nicht wirklich Glücklich.

Beautiful. I am so grateful that I was able to experience this. Who knows how long something like this will exist.	Wunderschön. Ich bin so dankbar, dass ich das erleben durfte. Wer weiß wie lange es sowas noch gibt.
