Today, I wrote to @xels again about exchanging credits for bucks and whether it's worth it. @xels wanted to do it again next time. He hadn't calculated when it would pay off, so I did it for him. So when will you get your money back?
I assumed that the 50 bonus is always used for 2 days every 14 days. But I think that's far too optimistic, because I think it's usually only active for about 36 hours, or 1 1/2 days.
For the remaining days, I've listed different bonuses. I think @xels now has 15, or are you already at 10? I'm still at 8, but soon it will only be a 7 bonus.
At the next exchange event, you get 40 bucks for $1, so you have to exchange $2.50 for 100 bucks to buy a plot of land.
If I only get a general plot of land, it would take me over 5 years, probably more like 7 years, to recoup my investment (all very optimistic calculations).
If I were lucky and got a legendary lot, it would still take a good 1 1/2 years.
I could already invest my payout elsewhere and earn a return on it, which would change the calculation again.
It's important to remember that the bonus continues to decrease as you remain active and purchase plots. Since I don't know if the app will still be around in 5 years, I prefer to cash out and invest it elsewhere.

mit @xels hatte ich heute wieder über das Tauschen der Credits in Bucks geschrieben und ob sich das lohnt. @xels wollte es beim nächsten mal wohl wieder mache. Ab wann es sich auszahlt, hatte er nicht ausgerechnet, daher habe ich das mal gemacht. Also wann hat man es wieder drin?
Ich habe dabei die Annahme genutzt, dass alle 14 Tage 2 Tage lang immer der 50er Bonus genutzt wird. Aber ich glaube dass ist viel zu optimistisch, denn ich meine der ist meist nur ca. 36 Std. also 1 1/2 Tage aktiv.
Für die restlichen Tage habe ich unterschiedliche Bonis mit aufgelistet, glaube @xels hat nun 15er oder bist du schon beim 10er? Ich bin noch bei 8er, aber bald gar nur noch 7er-Bonus.
Beim nächsten Tausch-Event erhält man 40 Bucks für 1 Dollar, somit muss man 2,50$ für 100 Bucks tauschen um ein Grundstück kaufen zu können.
Wenn ich nur ein allgemeines Grundstück erhalte, dann würde ich über 5 Jahre, wohl eher 7 Jahre benötigen um es wieder drin zu haben (War ja alles sehr optimistisch gerechnet).
Hätte ich Glück und würde ein Legendäres Grundstück bekommen, dann wären es immer noch gut 1 1/2 Jahre.
Meine Auszahlung könnte ich dabei bereits anderweitig investieren und eine Rendite damit erzielen, so dass sich die Rechnung nochmal verändert.
Man darf nicht vergessen, dass der Bonus immer weiter fällt, wenn man aktiv ist und Grundstücke kauft. Da ich nicht weiß, ob es die App in 5 Jahren noch gibt, zahle ich lieber aus und investiere es anderweitig.
In paar Jahren weiß ich dann, ob das eine gute oder schlechte Entscheidung war ;)
