For me adding value to other Steemians Steemit Journey is so important because we’re the early adaptors of Steem Blockchain based Dapps and we need help each with mutual respect and grow together.

I actually have around 109 people that I am following but in truth there are at least 10-15 names that are to be removed from that list and that would bring the number slightly below 100.
I want to follow a lot of people here but the practicality of the situation does not allow for it. Frankly it is difficult keeping track when the number is even close to hundred. I doubt that increasing the number beyond would allow us to be effective followers who add value to other folks journey.
In my understanding the idea is to follow somebodies journey here by actually being a part of it. Which obviously includes deep interactions and mutual benefit. If the number were to increase beyond hundred, it would become difficult to that. Which means that spreading yourself too thin can lead to shallower interactions because you need to cover more people in the same amount of time.
Because we also need to remember that as we are part of other peoples journey, others are a port of our journey too.
I think people with large account like yourself have the luxury of following very few people, but people with small account like myself need to follow many people because the more people I follow and support, the more support I get back, which important for my growth here. 😄
Plus I think I like to see a lot of content on my feed because I like to read and support different contents.

@nathanmars, That would be great idea for add value to our followers and help each others for grow fast in steem blockchain. After watching your video I removed my dead followers and currently my following list only 99 steemians. It's not a hard decision. We can easily make it. Thanks for adding more rules for grow up every true follower's steemit journey.
Yes, we need to add value to others. After tasting honey and discover it's sweetness, we need to give others around us to have a taste of the sweetness too. This is what I call love.
Sure...if the contents you create doesn't add value to the lives of other steemians then you are as good as dead. This is what many don't understand. You can't be dishing out shitty posts and expect people to add value to you. Life is all about give and take. What you give is what you get in return
I am not selling my steem power for less than $100
But here the things are different, people think that if they follow more people, more people will follow back and then they community will increase, In the start i did it too, that's is why there are almost 800 people whom i followed, but now i'm following less but those who are adding value @nathanmars.
Of course I agree with your words because we are a family of steem blockchain. If we work together, then surely our success will not be able to hold anyone. So it is best to work together, thank you for sharing such a beautiful post.

Which I believe, it is better to stay with 1 educated people than with 100 uneducated people. We need our companions, who will not only stop with the encouragement, but also provide support from the front side and back side.
