Ahhh I have mixed feelings about this one but at least you like it, spider. I guess it’s good to show others my art even if I’m not fully happy with it to gain other people’s perspective. To see it with a different pair of eyes, that’s how the saying goes, right ^^.
Worked out all right even without planning, love the blurry background lights, really does look like they're out enjoying the nightlife :) and the lights seem to have carried over nicely to the main subject :D
Since I'm usually planning first before drawing, I am not confident with using a different approach. My brain can be very undecided about a lot of things, stupid brain ^^;.

I find it difficult to make the glowing lights of the city at night. You did a good job there!
I think the trick about the night city lights is not to think too hard about it. Just let loose and let the subconscious mind takes over.
