Go for it! Yea getting past stress, anxiety and depression is definitely not an overnight thing. It takes time and commitment to getting through it. This book has been a big help in my recovery process. What's crazy too is that I got seriously burned out about 1 to 2 years ago and I am still in the recovery process.
What I can say though is that now I'm much better than I was and the key has been focusing on things that bring me life and energy.
