Most of the time I get a solid six hours, but I think I should have a little more. I think 7 would be just right.... with 8 as optimal, but I'm reluctant to go to bed earlier and of course, 5 days a week I have to get up early to go to work.
I never use to nap unless it was an extremely rare, warm Sunday afternoon when the windows were open and a little snooze across the made up bed felt nice. In the last couple of years though, if feels better and better to catch an occasional nap. I am not sure I need them for functioning, but it sure feels good to drift off now and then.
