Ah, the old leave it on the car and drive off thing. Did that with my keys once, and they got run over. So now I just put EVERYTHING on the hood when I'm in a hurry, which is most times. At least I see it then. Though your mug looks pretty good, I'd keep it for sure, more fun stories. Which I always enjoy to the max.
As for "on a roll", tell me about it. I'd like to have 10 bucks for every box of Corn Toasties I've eaten by the handful after midnight, Steemin' away and getting things done. When the iron is hot, I guess. Sorry you missed your ZZ's, and napping in mid day is WAY underrated, for sure. Nothing finer. Oh sure I know a thing or two about the joys of late night cereal! The kiddos didnt get me a cereal killer shirt for nothing lol.
Yeah they say aging beats the alternative. I guess it is hard to argue with that much. However, if I had set up the deal, I would have made it where things get better as you go along, maybe ala Benjamin Buttons kind of thing lol.
I'm all in on the Benjamin Button thing. Just makes more sense, end up as a puddle in the end. Love your shirt, such a classic.
Six hours! That's all you need or should we now say used to need. I'm a believer in naps, especially after learning sleep promotes healing.
Speaking from being a long-time professional napper...make a plan for a comfortable spot and not the chair unless it's a Lazyboy type. I have other helpful hints if you need some.
Oh well see you are too nice and easy. I think I need to be told to get my lazy a** up and get moving LOL :D
It was not that long ago you were in the hospital. Give yourself a break and rest when needed is my prescription for you.

The leaving the cup on the roof is a common story. At least it wasn't porcelain. It is funny that you are posting about sleep. I am currently experimenting with polyphasic sleeping. The goal sleep patter is a 3-4 hour core sleep and then 4 20 min naps throughout the day. But I am easy my way into it. Last night was 5 hours but I tell ya, I am waiting with anticipation for that first name. LOL
So now what is the goal of this Pryde? Is it to sleep less total time? What was your normal amount?
I am looking at starting to teach ESL online and this means being awake between 2-6am. Polyphasic sleeping would allow me some wakeful daytime but also yes, it is suppose to allow you to sleep less and be more productive. Today I did 4.5 hours sleep and then two 90 min naps ... those were some good naps:)
Most of the time I get a solid six hours, but I think I should have a little more. I think 7 would be just right.... with 8 as optimal, but I'm reluctant to go to bed earlier and of course, 5 days a week I have to get up early to go to work.
I never use to nap unless it was an extremely rare, warm Sunday afternoon when the windows were open and a little snooze across the made up bed felt nice. In the last couple of years though, if feels better and better to catch an occasional nap. I am not sure I need them for functioning, but it sure feels good to drift off now and then.
