It is really important to be open minded and not let stereotypes shape our perception of groups of people. I agree with you that the media bends and shapes other culture's beliefs and traditions and if you take it at face value, you will end up judging those cultures and their beliefs.

I think the world would be a better place if everyone was more open minded and took the time to learn about another cultures!
