Pump up!

in #exercise7 years ago

It's the third day of September. Second month of my return to a healthy lifestyle. After this post, i'm about to start my evening workout.

For those interested I'm going to try my best to list my exercises, sets, reps, and so on. Then probably what I'm eating, and what i am doing for nutrition. With less than $200 i made a small gym setup in my own house. I love going to the gym, but in all honesty one of the reasons i have held back on getting into shape, is probably psychological. With the weight gain, and my lifts not being where they were, i feel self conscious going to the gym, and working out in front of people. Either because i think my form is off, or just lifting like a bitch. It's game time, LIGHT WEIGHT!

In the future, i can go over the equipment. So, without stalling, lets get started with today's workout.

On the menu today is a circuit session with 60%-80% max weight. Going to work with a barbell with weights. I am doing a total of 100 LBS. The circuit will consist of 5 exercises, and will last for 15-30 minutes depending on your level. If this is your first time doing something like this, i highly recommend you doing 15 minutes. The idea is, you do all the exercises, WITHOUT STOPPING! No breaks. No excuses. You can go as slow as you want, or as fast as you want. The idea is to not stop. Transition from one to the next, and once 1 circuit is finished, you hop onto the 2nd, then the 3rd. See how far you can go in your first 15 minutes.

1. Shoulder Press

2. Front Squat

3. Bent over Row

4. Dead Lift

5. Squat

Before i go, just remember one thing. Please keep the ego on the rack. Lift smart, full range of motion, and good form.

Good luck!

Balls.
