Breakfast and doing shopping for Bianca’s family.
Bianca’s family realized now that we are in Londrina we might as well take some stuff from here with us.
They have been bombarding her with requests all morning :)
It’s understandable I guess because it’s a decent sum of Brazilian money to get here by bus for them and back.
Considering we have to wait for hours anyway to pick up the car we will go to the center soon and do some shopping for them before we leave.
But first we had breakfast in the hotel.
It was included in the price and it made me realize that for the traveler that wants to explore Brasil it’s a pretty cool country to visit.
The major bus terminals makes it easy to get from A to B and the hotels are affordable enough if you pick the right ones.
And maybe they have some cool hostels too I haven’t checked.
This hotel was around 30 euro which I think is ok. (Compared to the Netherlands that is).
The breakfast here had all I need. Coffee, some bread with stuff and fruits.
I did try something I never had before: Avocado Juice.
In the Netherlands we eat avocado in a savory way but here it’s considered a fruit and treated as such.
The juice was delicious almost milkshake wise thickness, sweet and creamy.
With a filled belly we will take an Uber to the Centre now and get the stuff her family needs and then it’s off to see them!
We will be spending around 2,5 weeks there.
Bianca is pretty excited to see them as you can imagine!

Lots of fruits and vegetables, very typical of a tropical country.

That's so cool.
What a great trip.
Will you guysvisit Brazil again, next year, or no plans?
I can imagine, @exyle! If it's like you say he's almost a year and a half old he doesn't see them. Breakfast looks healthy! I see fruit, ham, cheese and bread. Latin American countries are relatively cheap, especially at the exchange rate of euros or dollars. Thank you for showing us those images of your trip. You make us feel like we're traveling with you! Enjoy your meal and may you find everything you want to buy. Greetings
Thank you so much! Bianca saw her family yesterday!
Great to read your Brazil update, your breakfast looked really delicious with all those fruits and juices. I am sure that you will receive a very warm welcome from Bianca's family. It will be a very happy occasion :)
Hi exyle. Like you I like to try new food things. Avocado juice kind of intrigues me as I have never heard of it before. Enjoy your travels and shopping today.
Wow,different life style from southern hemisphere.Obviously it will be very exciting moments for Bianca to meet her friends and family members and make shopping for them .The food looks wonderful one. Thanks for share.
Nice looking breakfast @exyle. You must be with Bianca's family by now. how lovely for her.
I hope the shopping and drive went went. 😊
That is awesome! I have never heard of avocado juice before either, but it is definitely something I would give a try sometime. It sounds like you guys are having a great time there. Most hotels in the US have some form of breakfast like that, even if it is just fruit and pastries.
Haha, if you like milkshake you will like this. I was surprised how good it was. In the Netherlands it seems you always have to pay for breakfast.
I will have to keep an eye out for it if I ever get a chance in my travels!
In my tradition is also a culture that family of the female offers various things to the couple. Avocado Juice is quite odd and new thing for me, I shall try this lol :D
I am happy that hotels are cheaper here than Netherlands ;)
Compared to prices in US the hotel is at a great and very affordable price. However, it’s hard to say whether it’s a great price for people who live there, Brazilians. You are taking your vacation very seriously. There are lots of places you’ve already been to and still will. It feels like you are celebrating every single day.
When you life here it's expensive indeed. I guess I do look at things with a western eye.
