Thanks @ladyrebecca for bringing these two families horrific story to light. Camelia Simcala's case is so heartbreaking, as a mother I find it very difficult to imagine how she gets through her day without her kids. All this corruption/abuse needs to be exposed. Thanks for doing just that.resteemed
Indeed, it is hard to imagine. The video of the children being wrestled out of her arms is horror-movie stuff. And, from what she says, the kids are taking it very hard. The girl has withdrawn to a fantasy world where she gets to go back home, while the boy is depressed and is losing weight.
As for exposing such abuse, there are local NGOs doing that, but it's very hard. From what I've read, the people and the companies involved in this business are very powerful, so they have control over the mainstream media. For instance, an interview this woman gave to a Finnish TV station was immediately removed from their site.
I can imagine, that's why it falls to people like us to try and make sure it gets the coverage it needs. To be persistent with bringing all these cases to light.
