Medicinal uses of plants. (Part 1 )
For a long time people have resorted to the use of plants for different health diagnoses, for that reason my dear friends of steemit want to share with you. Some of these secrets of nature that serve as analgesics, anti-inflammatories, antioxidants, antibacterials, common cold, digestive disorders, in the treatment of heart, kidney, skin diseases, among others:
BENEFITS OF THE LION'S TEETH. (Common name: amargón, plumerillo, baker and dandelion)
• Digestive problems: The dandelion has laxative properties, stimulates the appetite and helps the natural balance of the bacteria of the intestine.
• Kidney problems: The dandelion has diuretic properties which help the kidney to eliminate desires, excess water and salt.
• Detoxifies the kidney: Helps eliminate toxins from the body.
• Antioxidant properties: it is a rich source of beta-carotene which is converted into vitamin A. It has vitamin C, fiber, potassium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, zinc and calcium. It also helps to prevent DNA damage caused by free radicals.
• Help with diabetes: This plant reduces sugar levels, if you have diabetes and you use hypoglycemia, it can be dangerous to use this plant because it can lead to hypoglycemia.

• Treat insomnia.
To prepare an infusion you need 2 dry leaves of boldo and 1 liter of water. Heat 1 liter of water, before the water begins to boil add the 2 dry boldo leaves. Let the water boil for 3 minutes. Let the infusion stand for 2 minutes before taking it.
Contraindications: The boldo is a medicinal plant, not a food that you should eat every day. The boldo should not be used for a long time, you should never use it for more than 4 weeks. It should not be used in pregnant women, or nursing. In pregnant women it can be abortive. It should not be used in children under 12 years old.
