They have quite the squawk at times. Seagulls do have a bunch of different calls.
I’ve seen them hang around the cafe near the beach but haven’t seen anyone on the beach feeding them. Seagulls do keep the garbage cleaned up :)

I'm sure people at PEI have a lot more sense with the gulls at the beach than tourists at the beach in say, Clearwater FL do, LOL. But their boldness is novel to tourists if they've never been to a real beach before, so if I get bothered, I just move to another spot rather than scold them. :)
