1. Sunflower란?
Sunflower는 해바라기라는 뜻으로, 학명은 Helianthus annuus입니다. 미국과 멕시코 원산으로, 지름 30cm 이상의 큰 꽃을 가지고 있습니다.
2. Sunflower의 특징
- 태양을 향해 꽃잎을 펴서 태양을 따라 회전한다는 특징이 있습니다.
- 꽃잎은 노란색이며, 중앙에는 갈색의 씨앗이 모여 있습니다.
- 씨앗은 식용으로도 사용되며, 씨앗에서 추출한 기름은 조리용으로도 사용됩니다.
- 대부분의 Sunflower는 높이 2~3m 정도로 자라며, 일부는 5m 이상의 높이에 달할 수도 있습니다.
3. Sunflower의 의미
Sunflower는 햇빛을 따라 회전하는 모습으로 태양의 빛과 온기를 받아 자라는 모습이 아름답기 때문에, 희망과 긍정적인 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 또한, 씨앗을 추출하여 기름을 만들어 사용하는 것으로 인해 건강과 영양에 대한 의미도 가지고 있습니다.
