Greetings everyone!

Am glad to have you here in my blog, here in my blog it is not new that I often post and talk about food especially my local cuisine and the one I have learnt here, I love my kitchen and everything in it, it is my space were healthy meals are processed for my family but today let's talk about something else that is essential to our health.

Fruit which are essential part of a healthy diet, most of the time I consume fruit because of the sweet and unique flavor they have but aside from the sweetness fruit helps to build our immune system, aid digestion and even maintain a healthy weight.

When and How Should We Consume fruit?

The truth is that one may choose to consume fruit at any given time and totally okey, it can also be taken as snask which can help to boost energy it can also be enjoyed either as juice, puree, mashed or whole.

Some people love to eat fruit after meal while some eat fruit between meals and other before mealtime, personally I do consume fruit either ways and they still benefits me but here are the benefits of consuming fruit first in the morning

• Fruit consume in the morning on an empty stomach helps digestion and nutrients absorption.

• Fruit consume in-between meal helps with hydration which help in weight management by increasing fullness reducing calories intake.

• Fruit consume after meal is a healthier alternative for sweet cravings it also aid digestion as it produces natural enzymes it as well releases antioxidants that combat oxidative stress from an unhealthy food

So it is safe and healthy to consume fruit at any given time of the day.

Excessive fruit Intake Is It Bad to The Health?

Too mush of everything can become a trait to our well being even the things that keeps us healthy can become unhealthy if abused because moderation in everything is highly recommended, and yes excessive intake of fruit can be dangerous here is the reason, excessive intake of fruit can cause diarrhea, bloating and gass this is due to high fiber and fructose, this can also cause blood sugar spike for those with diabetes, fructose are natural sugar from fruit if consumed in excess it can cause weight gain as well fruit is good for the health but moderation is the key.

Combining different types of fruit together and why I love to do so

Having different fruits in a diet offer's substantial benefits this is because they provide distinct vitamin, minerals, fiber and antioxidants consuming variety of this fruit helps get full benefits of this compound.

Here in my plate I have papaya fruit (pawpaw) star fruit and passion fruit here are their health benefits

star fruit it helps in boosting immunity, supporting heart health, and aiding digestion due to its high content of antioxidants like fiber and vitamin C .

Passion Fruit it promote heart health by helping to regulate blood pressure and cholesterol,it has higher fiber content which helps control blood sugar level.

papaya it helps prevent constipation by promoting healthy digestion it also improves skin and hair health it can also help fight inflammation.

So you see that place of fruit above might look simple but it is packed with such great healthy fruits which can help in so many health issues in our system but remember moderation is the key.
