Hello Steemians! Today I want to talk about one of the most popular food in the Philippines and also one of the most disgusting food in the world :) if you're eating right now I'm so sorry if you lost your appetite ;)
Balut or in english its called the "bird embryo" is a common street food in the Philippines. Pretty much every where in the Philippines, especially at night you will see vendors selling them in the street. It is insanely gross and incredibly unappetizing but that's a delicacy of Philippines! If you didn't grow up in Asia eating Balut might be out of your comfort zone.
5 Balut facts
1. Filipinos will add flavor to Balut by seasoning it with vinegar, salt and pepper and garlic. Eat it while it's still warm. Yolk and embryo are completely edible.

Here is the video of people first time eating Balut
