RE: Retro NES Game Review: M.C. Kids
I did a playthrough with the 3 mages and a monk (or martial artist or whatever, its the original v1.0 version, but JEng translation (that means bugged spells included) i prefer to get as original as possible. The monk takes a while but once he gets going its really the pillar of the party imo.
Itch has tons of retro games you can play for free although most NES and Megadrive games arent (not that they cost much for someone with even a standard income)
i dont think i'll be buying any time soon unless i can sell one of my own next year because at €0 a month even €5 becomes something to think about before spending
too bad b/c i like indies like that and it would make sense that i buy others stuff if i try to put up my own but
in the state of the state it's just gonna have to go counterclockwise now or not at all ...
which means definitely no more steam games either
the best elden ring bossfight i still have on video, i had a real nice one from Sekiro doing the general on the horse but i cant find it anymore
if the crypto market crashes down below 100k again thats another we dont have to worry about : "what am i gonna spend the money on when it hits" lol

my second char : the first one i played through on 1 equal stat per level and wearing that nightgown and the 100% shield
the second one is brute melee and armour (wearing the lion generals armour there) because i couldnt get past the fire giant
and so far i still havent
but actually i barely game anymore since some months ... if i get at a keyboard its programming ... tho slowly while lying down and at night some steemit, demoscene videos and when i cleared my backlog a godot tutorial series b/c i wanna try the pc game after all
even if it has to be "name your own price" , a 1% chance is more than 0
besides, the vibe i get everywhere else on everything else is pretty much
the same sentiment all around the globe, i think people have some issues with some issue everywhere

just back from the second catwalk i just realized : i dont mean any kind of stuff xept that global issues seem to be converging a lot lately and great leaders are starting to take it to heart while the world of mundanes has actuall done me nothing but wrong so i stay away from it and live in the cables and the realm of shadows with the cat
i understand memes like that are close to porn in the U.K. today (well i understood that correct from what i been reading the last year) so dont react to it if you dont wanna. It's sentiment of the people all across the place thats the impression i'm getting but

reality : even if there WAS money i'm not sure there would be money for AAA games, the last ones i got, like Tekken 8 i only got after there was a serious discount, prices are just insane
but we dont have to worry about that anymore since there's no disposable income

Yes that's right the black belt becomes a monk and is said to be very good for endgame along with the ninja. But for me I'm not interested in making my playthroughs easy, just a normal difficulty is fine, or difficult I do like a challenge.
Reached level-2 should be getting to 3 soon and slowly gathering some more equipment before setting out.
I don't really spent much on games anymore there are many many many tittles out there to enjoy and when the price is right you can get most of want you want for very little. All that one needs to do is avoid the launch hype, marketing as no effect on me, I'm in no rush lol.
But I do see you have a nice little collection on itch.
With Steemit I just don't understand why many think good content is a long written post with many images, Steemit is amazing because it has the unique ability to cater for most types of content, but pushing people to only focus on long written content makes no sense.
I do hope you will still find the opportunity to do some actual gaming here and there , even if it's tough. But I understand you enjoy your programming, both I think can be very enjoyable.
From some of my travels and what I have heard from other people too the meme does have to correct sentiment, it's hilarious in a non offensive way. And speaking of porn that is banned to, well kinda you now need to scan your face or give out your credit card details, apparently all this nonsense is to protect the children. Seems everything is getting banned or unreachable, so I'm waiting to see what happens when someone decides to take themselves out because they got offended by a fat person, will we ban fat people from leaving their homes? What will happen if seeing tattoos gets us offended, will they shutdown all the parlours and ban all the artists? I'm not a big fan of the ink myself but seems to be popular these days.
I agree we should have more sharing capabilities on Steemit, I'm still hoping at some point it will happen but it does seem doubtful. I too when had more cats was also thinking about such things around the house, they would really enjoy it, I have seen some amazing cat dream houses from the states.
Haha yes Microsoft buys every company in the gaming market and often ruins them, the Outer Worlds does look fun, I preferred the look of the first game, feel less excited for the 2nd, supposedly like fallout with a little more comedy.
Haha I spotted that, 1320 days!? It's not the first time I have checked such sites when Steemit and other sites have gone down and honestly the information seems unreliable, to the point I never visit such sites anymore.
Most modern titles dont really appeal ... stuff like Outer Worlds 2 might , if i still had budget for games, due to the hilarious nature and the environment Obsidian creates with (or without microsoft money) , other than that i think the best games are indie, most big companies go for the grab, which means you cant have too much complexity (if you want to adress the big chunk in the middle of the bell curve)
but even so ... stuff like caves of qud made seven million so far, celeste around 23 i think, its still possible without being owned by crotter, its just not easy and i bet its easier for those who can take off a few years because they can afford it
That is true, its sad to see some of the bigger companies very obviously making something for a buck and nothing more, I still think there are a few good ideas out there for games that are not being used much, but they dare not go down that realm incase it flops.
Wow both games earned some nice chunk of change, I think it's definitely possible, of course not easy, one needs a good game and then some luck that it goes a bit viral.
