Most modern titles dont really appeal ... stuff like Outer Worlds 2 might , if i still had budget for games, due to the hilarious nature and the environment Obsidian creates with (or without microsoft money) , other than that i think the best games are indie, most big companies go for the grab, which means you cant have too much complexity (if you want to adress the big chunk in the middle of the bell curve)
but even so ... stuff like caves of qud made seven million so far, celeste around 23 i think, its still possible without being owned by crotter, its just not easy and i bet its easier for those who can take off a few years because they can afford it
That is true, its sad to see some of the bigger companies very obviously making something for a buck and nothing more, I still think there are a few good ideas out there for games that are not being used much, but they dare not go down that realm incase it flops.
Wow both games earned some nice chunk of change, I think it's definitely possible, of course not easy, one needs a good game and then some luck that it goes a bit viral.
Reached level-3 I'm needing some armour now before starting.
