anyway, i think i'll be closing steemit for the year unless it bumps over $2 and has a chance at creating a survival income, otherwise it feels like i should spend every available thought on the 1% chance i can make some writing a game within 5 years ... so until the voter is up there might not be any unless i check between, but i do plan to put up an autovoter again at least,

Make the right decision that is good for you I would say, too many don't try and so will never know, but sometimes the warnings are words of past wisdom. But still too many go with the flow and are told where to sit and wait until death comes knocking.
Steem had some of it's best moments towards the end of the year, we can only hope to see it happen again.
I understand your logic and sounds like a good plan, for me personally navigating all those systems to say for example like in your case sell a game "a product" has always been more complicated and difficult compared to earning on Steem. I feel my chances are still greater on here, but best of luck to us both and hope we all have the means of making it back here in 2026.
If there was no Steemit I wouldn't be doing any social media, unless like you said there's something to sell.
Don't I know it!.. the cold is being horrendous, the heating went bust here and due to the repair men being so busy I was without heating. Had to go shops and get in some heaters.
