Travel Diaries - #Throwbacks - Visiting the Jardin Botanique

Botanical Gardens are a delight to visit, they offer so much of nature around that it truly delights the heart. This again was a very delightful visit to the Jardin Botanical Garden in Geneva. The Garden spreads out on a 28 hectares land area and features more than 12,000 species of plants and trees. So, one can imagine how huge it is and what variety of plants and trees it must be having.

There are different types of Gardens in this space like the Japanese garden, Winter Garden, Ethnobotanical Gardens and many other and also Greenhouse spaces. There are horticulture beds, composting space, special Swiss protected plants and a lot more. A play area for children and an animal park also is there, but this part we did not visit as my interest was only in exploring the Botanical Garden.

Walking down through the Garden surrounded by Trees from both the sides, was feeling good energy of the space.

Different varieties of plants and trees. I cannot even remember all the names. Most of them have names mentioned but honestly, I am hearing quite a lot of them for the first time, or probably the names in my region would be different.

So many varieties of trees and plants, I was just walking through and clicking pictures and feeling the good energy.

A beautiful environment. It would be so nice if we could develop more such spaces within the City which would help control the pollution levels and we would have cleaner air to breath.
