I have also been seeing the normalization. I also agree with the problem of focusing too much on technical debates, it just makes people's eyes glaze over and ignore the whole thing.

"Proof" for the disbelievers. Recorded history. You can see in old TV shows that this phenomenon did not exist back in the early 1980s. Watch the skies and you can see the contrails are never very long. The first TV show that I started watching forensicly was "The A-Team". It's a corny 80's show with very low production quality but because of that low-quality they ended up recordeing a lot of ambient information. See for yourself, contrails didn't used to act this way.
