Trolling “Health” Forums and Products.
When we refer to a product as a good produced by man, “Health Products” is an oxymoron. When I heard about this product called “Huel” (Health + Fuel ?) I did attempt to abstain from allowing the troll inside of me to come out.
Hehe.
The Huel Claim
“No prep, no cooking and it contains protein, carbs, fiber, fats and all 27 essential vitamins and minerals from as little as $1.95 per meal. Too good to be true?”
The Huel Illusion
They have made zero claims that it is a “whole food” because it is the equivalent of eating:
- a bunch of useless vitamin supplements,
- powdered sugar,
- grain dust,
- and saw dust. Err wait, it looks like they instead used pea dust—I mean, “pea protein”.
Oh yes, and add water. For those of you that drink bottled waters, your meal just went from “as little as $1.95 per meal” to...
“As little as $3.25 per meal!”*
- including estimated tax just to inflate the price and distance you from their marketing illusion.
Better Alternatives
I’ll stick with my fruits: no prep, no cooking, and it contains protein / carbs / fats / all essential items for the human being ... as little as FREE per meal, and $1.95 per meal is just luxury. Is Huel too good to be true? Far from it; it’s an expensive imitation.
These alternatives are “better” because they excel in everything that Huel claims to be—save time, save money, no food waste, humane, simple:
- 1-2 lbs of your favorite grapes.
- 6.5 lbs of bananas—wow that’s a lot! Or how about 3 lbs of bananas and a $2.00 bottle of Penta water?
- 3-4 Haus avocados.
- Coconut meat and water of 2 coconuts.
- And I could go on...
Bad press is good press, right? :)
Check this out and use your imagination to replace the “Huel” plastic cup with a batch of bananas:
Thank you! :)
It is my wish to serve you with these words!
Some info about me: I've been involved with Bitcoin since 2010. By trade I am an expert on blockchain technology. I am the Project Director for Wall of Coins, and CEO for Genitrust, Inc. I eat primarily fruits and leafy greens ("fruitarian"). This is known as a frugivorous diet, which is the diet by design of the human species and most primates. I don't cook my fruits, so you may also call this "raw vegan". I have eaten virtually every food item and major cultural style on this planet. I have experienced long periods of many different diet regimens: acid/alkaline, ketogenic, vegan, etc. In my spare time as a child, and an adult, I truly relished reading articles, books, and research papers on nutritional observation. I also enjoy and frequently practice long periods of juice fasting, water fasting, and dry fasting.
Thank you for reading, upvoting, tipping, and re-steeming!

My Dad always says that era has changed, you'll find people in near future that will just have tablets instead of food and then they don't need to have the food then which will give the exact same calories and stuff.
And it's really changed!
Thanks for sharing Robert!
Thank you for coming by! I’m glad you enjoyed it :D
Lol, this is funny, stop eating to consume that, no thanks XDD
i like the better alternatives far away better than that :) please let me know about this long periods of juice fasting, water fasting, and dry fasting.
how because it's sound quite interesting :)
Thank you for the comment :) are you saying that you’d like me to mention more about fasting?
yeah i actually wanna know about such fasting because i really wonder how can be one person just go for a juice and water fasting. because i can't stay hungry :(
The best way to learn about fasting is to learn from yourself. So how do you do this? Simply begin to fast :) Stop eating. You'll know what to do from there.
nice post. very helpful.
I’m happy to serve you :) thank you for the attention!
These meal replacement things like soylent seem like a depressing and tasteless replacement for food. I tried soylent one time and it was awful. I wish I knew then that you could get the same convenience by eating 30 bananas a day instead. It's liberating to know that convenient and healthy food are not mutually exclusive.
Heck ya! Even 12 bananas a day is plenty. These products are mostly scams, and how lucky are we to be aware of it and help others become more aware? :)
