Well I don't know why they stayed in South America but they are honestly working that job with no intentions of stealing from them, it's seems like if people treat him with respect then he is honorable back to them. I think he robbed that Argentina bank because he felt bitter and angry that they forced him off the ranch that he worked so hard for and spent a small fortune on so the bank job was payback.
