The Diary Game - Monday, March 2, 2026: Day 12 of Ramadan Fasting
Hello, good morning to all my Steemian friends. How are you today? I hope you are all in good health and always under the protection of Allah SWT, allowing you to carry out all your activities well. Alhamdulillah, I'm back to share my daily activities on this happy day.
Praise be to God, on the twelfth day of Ramadan, Monday (March 2, 2026), I began my activities by waking up early to indulge in one of the highly recommended acts of worship: the pre-dawn meal. I usually eat pre-dawn meal late in the day because the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recommended delaying the meal until closer to dawn. This helps keep me feeling full longer. Not long after the simple pre-dawn meal, the time for imsak arrived, and while waiting for dawn, I lay down for a moment. A moment later, the call to prayer (adhan) sounded from the loudspeaker of the Babul Huda Mosque in Panggoi.
I headed to the bathroom to clean myself and perform ablution. Before leaving the house for the mosque, I performed the two-rak'at sunnah prayer of Fajr at home. If you want your sins to be forgiven, make time to perform the sunnah prayer of Fajr while you still have the opportunity. When the muezzin announced the iqamah, a sign that the congregational morning prayer would soon be established, I left the house in the still dark atmosphere to go to the mosque which was not far from the house where I lived.
Arriving at the courtyard of the mosque, the pride of the Panggoi community and its surrounding areas, the congregation was quite crowded with people praying for dawn prayers. Not only the elderly, but also teenagers, young people, and even children filled the mosque to perform the morning prayer in congregation. Everyone performed the morning prayer in congregation to gain multiplied rewards. After the morning prayer, I briefly engaged in Iktiqaf (religious devotion) while listening to the regular sermon. Then I returned home and lay down for a while with Raffa, who was still fast asleep. Before I knew it, I fell back asleep and woke up a few moments later when the sun was shining brightly.
As the clock approached eight o'clock, I left my beloved yard and headed to my school. First, I took Raffa to daycare. At 11 o'clock, I picked up my son and took him to therapy. Moments later, when the call to prayer sounded, I headed to the mosque to perform the afternoon prayer in congregation. After prayers, I returned home and played for a while while keeping my child company until he fell asleep. As night fell, I performed the Isha prayer and continued with the Tarawih prayer on the thirteenth night until it was finished. The virtue of the Tarawih prayer on the thirteenth night is that "those who perform the Tarawih prayer on the thirteenth night will receive protection from all evil on the Day of Judgment."
