Crypto Academy Week 5 Homework Post for @gbenga
With a joy in my heart, I am here again today to submit to you guys another submission to the Homework task for week 5 by professor @gbenga
Which the task is below:
Task
Make a Post about a Security problem with Cryptocurrency and Share a personal experience if possible.
SECURITY PROBLEM WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY
The world of Cryptocurrency has really grow too large that people are trooping in the crypto world.
But even with this development, there is always increase rise in the security issue surrounding the crypto world. This has even discourage many user who want to be in the crypto world
Among this several security problem that cryptocurrency faced. There is one particular one I will be talking about.
Insecurity in the fund of Cryptocurrency Exchange
This has been a rapid rise in the major problem in the crypto world. Several cryptocurrency exchange are facing this problem as day goes by.
Daily we hear about cryptocurrency exchanges that are facing hacking of their funds, hacking of people wallet, attacking of people addresses there by this has caused a major problem when it comes to security or funds in the crypto space.
Sometimes ago, we hear about the hacking of funds of $200M that take place on the kucoin exchange as this is a reference to confirm it
Imagine that type of huge funds been stolen on the exchange.
Imagine a lot of user that will really suffer that hacking due to their funds being stolen. This has been a rapid problem in the cryptocurrency world. The rate at which hackers are targeting Cryptocurrency Exchange is alarming. Using different forms like phishing, hacking of the gateway payment and many more .
This is one of the major security problems the crypto space is facing which I believe needs to be tackled before it really escalate really up more because with the look of things, if this really continue I am continuing to fear what will be the situation of the safety of people funds and crypto assets on the various crypto exchange.
I believe the various Cryptocurrency Exchange should really come together to decide on a solution to apply to reduce the massive rate because if this continues, it can discourage many user from involving themselves in the crypto space and not only that people who are already there will be finding a way to leave because their funds are not safe online
A Particular Experience that happens to me
I was almost hacked of my funds on trustwallet some months ago when I almost click a phishing link that was advertising that I can really win some good amount of the particular token I was owning of in my trustwallet.
Actually I will say greed and that temptation of earning some good amount of additional token which was 1up then. I click that link that was sent to me on the telegram channel and thank God there was no internet connectivity on phone that made the link not to go through.
This was just the one that save me from my funds been hacked and not only that, all my funds on my trustwallet that I have in possession will Also be hacked and stolen away.
This is my submission for the homework task

THANK YOU!

Hello @mandate, thanks for participating in this week's assignment. I want to call your attention to a few things on your post and the first is styling.
I am sure this (#####Task)is a mistake and will appreciate it if you can correct it.
The two paragraphs in the image above could stand as one paragraph. Also, the choice of words is another hindrance to keeping me keen on your post. Eg, from the paragraph above, using "there is always rapid rise" in the context isn't the right word to use. Using words such as "there is an increase/rise....."
You should reference an event which you weren't present at. You read or saw the story of the hacking somewhere, we will love to know the source(s).
Hello @gbenga, thank you it had been edited and corrected you can take a look at it now
