Saludos a todos los amantes del arte y de la escritura. Para esta edición 61 les traigo al grabador y pintor inglés William Hogarth.

Este destacado artista nació en Londres en 10 de noviembre de 1697. Su formación como artista plástico la recibió en la Academia de Thornhill, en el Covent Garden.

En el año 1729 contrajo nupcias con la hija de Thornhill.

Sus obras tienen un toque satírico sobre las costumbres sociales y políticas de la cultura occidental.

Falleció el 26 de octubre de 1764, en Londres, cuando tenía 64 años.

A continuación les presentaremos tres de sus obras para que usted escoja la que más los motive a escribir. La primera se llama: "Matrimonio a la moda (Poco después de la boda" (1745), la segunda, "La carrera de un libertino" (1733-1735) y la tercera "Sarah Malcolm encarcelada"(1733)

Greetings to all lovers of art and writing. For this 61st edition I bring you the English engraver and painter William Hogarth.

This outstanding artist was born in London on November 10, 1697. He received his training as a plastic artist at the Thornhill Academy, in Covent Garden.

In the year 1729 he married Thornhill's daughter.

His works have a satirical touch on the social and political customs of Western culture.

He died on October 26, 1764, in London, when he was 64 years old.

Below we will present three of his works so that you can choose the one that most motivates you to write. The first is called: "Marriage in Fashion (Shortly After the Wedding" (1745), the second, "The Career of a Rake" (1733-1735) and the third "Sarah Malcolm Imprisoned"(1733)
