The Secret

Today I wanted to write for this contest that is running by @solperez , here is the link if you are also interested:
Tina and her dog Flick were always together. Actually when Flick was just few months old the grandpa of Tina made a little birthday present for his granddaughter and it was a little puppy. Grandpa remembered very well how Tina was playing with the dog of his neighbour during last summer holiday and she was voluntarily offered to go for walks and was very responsible when she needed to clean after the dog. Grandpa has spoken to Tina’s parents and mentioned that he was thinking about little surprise for Tina’s birthday and parents were happy because they saw how good she was in that and also it would give her a regular task too.
Tina’s grandfather had a friend who recently had few puppies and already arranged to take one, only the puppy needed time to get a bit stronger so that he could be separated from its mother.
On Tina’s birthday it was so far. There were many friends on her birthday and she was still waiting for her Grandpa who was later this time. She even thought that her grandpa might have forgotten about her Birthday. Approximately hour later, the door bell rang and there was a grandpa with a little puppy, Tina was excited and gave him a big hag, then she took the puppy who immediately loved Tina and they together run into garden.
Years passed and Flick was grown up he and Tina were the best friends and they understood each other without any words.
One morning Tina went in the kitchen to get some food, nobody was at home but she saw some eggs lying there and ready for eat. When she took one and started to peel off the skin, Flick started to bake and that meant: Do not touch! It is not allowed before Tina’s parents! But Tina was so hungry so that she just finished to cleaning her egg and eat it. Flick was too loud and Tina noticed that and looked around nobody was there, Tina told Flick: Shh.. be quiet , this is our secret!
