Is quite a very beautiful plant that’s commonly known as the bright eyes, Cape periwinkle, graveyard plant, pink periwinkle, rose periwinkle, old maid is a species of flowering plant in the family of Apocynaceae.
It’s native & endemic to Madagascar, usually grown elsewhere as an ornamental & medicinal plant, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these uses, including cure for diabetes, cancer, sore throat, cough & insect bite.
Has various spiritual & symbolic meanings, often associated with endurance, friendship & even mystical qualities. In some contexts, it's linked to purity, serenity, and positive energy. Its vibrant colors & resilience contribute to its symbolic weight, making it a subject of interest in both traditional medicine & spiritual practices.
