The increasing development of social media plays a role in opening up space for anyone to gain popularity. Every individual can use various media to achieve their goals. Popularity brings many benefits. However, if someone always seeks the attention of others and wants to constantly be the center of attention, you should be careful. Because this obsession is a symptom of a personality disorder.

Do you want to become popular or not? Justify your answer.
First, I have to ask myself, why do I have to be popular? Does this desire come from the bottom of my heart? or just the desire to have my existence recognized by others ?

Since I was little, I have been used to being someone who doesn't stand out too much in social situations, excessive attention from other people actually makes me uncomfortable. I'm the type of person who is very private and likes to do everything behind the scenes. For an introverted man like me, popularity is not a goal that must be pursued. However, on the other hand, I also have the ability to adapt well to everything that happens in my life.

What do you think, the way of becoming popular matters or not?
I think this is very important, popularity comes from hard work, whether in the form of work or actions that are beneficial to other people. This kind of popularity is commendable and very inspiring. Let's look at examples such as Elon Musk, Warren Buffet, Bill Gates and many other popular figures who have made major contributions to the world. The impact is much different from the popularity achieved because of a certain sensation that only leads to itself. Popularity achieved through good methods can improve the quality of personal branding.

Confident and sociable

In my opinion, which qualities make a person popular?
From my observations, those who gain popularity generally have a particular work or special skill that many people don't have. Personality, they are very sociable, innovative, intelligent, humble, honest and have high self-confidence in their abilities. They are people who consistently develop themselves to achieve popularity in their respective fields.

The pros and cons of becoming popular?
Like two sides of a coin, there are always positive and negative impacts of popularity. Loss of privacy is one of the big problems experienced by famous or popular people. On the other hand, popularity can also support a person's career in achieving their goals.

There are always pros and cons in society, this is because popularity can have a big influence on social life and society. In my opinion, the most important thing is how popularity is used to move other people towards goodness and can have an impact on changes in life for the better.

Hello Dear @harferri

The popularity that comes from hard work is admirable and satisfying. Today's cheap popularity called viral lacks only ego. You don't want to look popular because you prefer to keep your privacy and stay behind the scenes. I respect your staying behind the scenes. I enjoyed your post about popularity.
