Piyala Village On The Onega River
Greetings, friends
Russian North, Onega River near the village of Piyala.
There is a wooden church in this village, built in 1651. In those days, there were no roads that were familiar to us, and all movement took place along rivers, so all towns and villages were located along the banks of rivers.
The Onega River originates from Lake Lacha and flows almost due north to the White Sea.
I like this river. There is excellent fishing on it.

Most of the villages along this river have been without inhabitants since the fall of the USSR, but in some, there are still people, mostly pensioners.

Everything has a beginning, a full development, and a finish.
