🐥 SteemHop Daily Log - The Eagle Is Too Fast

Hello friends and fellow Steemians!

Today was another SteemHop day.
Since a few days ago, I decided to fully focus on collecting coins so I can finally buy a new character.

Right now I have around 340~350 coins saved. 🪙

Slowly but surely, I’m getting closer to my goal
the cute pink pig character 🐷💖

But honestly, trying to collect every single coin is much harder than I expected.

I keep getting hit by cars.
Falling into the water.
Then getting hit by cars again 😂

Every time I see coins, greed takes over and suddenly my hopping skills disappear.

Still, today I managed to collect quite a lot of coins again.

At this rate, I think I’ll finally be able to buy the pink pig very soon.

And while playing SteemHop today, I suddenly started wondering about something.

Why is the eagle in this game SO ridiculously fast? 🤣

Seriously, that bird appears out of nowhere and instantly catches me every single time.

So I ended up imagining something funny.

What if the yellow chick and the eagle had a real racing competition?

In my imagination, both started at the same line in a huge desert.

At first, the yellow chick was actually winning.
Hop hop hop — running faster and farther across the desert.

I was cheering for the chick in my head.

“Good! Keep going! You can win this!”

But then…

Far away on the right side…

I saw the eagle’s head appear.

Oh no.

RUN, LITTLE CHICK! 🦅💨🐥

But the eagle was unbelievably fast.

Honestly, I’m convinced that eagle secretly took a break somewhere and recovered all its stamina before chasing again 😂

In just a few seconds, it reached right behind the chick.

The eagle’s wings were almost touching the poor yellow chick.

And then…

WHOOSH!

The eagle flew past so fast that the chick tumbled over from the wind pressure alone 🤣

Well…

Just as expected, the final winner of the race was the eagle after all.

Maybe one day the chick will finally win.

But definitely not today 😂
