Greetings

Dear friends, how is everyone doing? I hope you are all doing very well; I am doing quite well too. I am @green015, speaking from India. Today, I will share some photographs of a nursery garden. So, let's get started---

Nursery garden photography:

This happened a few days ago, on June 5th—World Environment Day—when saplings were being distributed at Bardhaman Zoological Park. The event was organized by the Bardhaman Forest Department. As a student at Bardhaman University, I went there to collect some plants. I have a deep emotional attachment to and love for various kinds of plants, so I visited the park with a few friends who share this same passion and desire to collect plants. To enter the zoological park, one had to pass through a gate that was beautifully decorated with balloons. Unlike the previous year, there were no strict restrictions; people could simply provide their phone number, sign a register, specify the number of plants they wanted, and choose the ones they liked. Incidentally, balloons were also hung from the plants themselves.

Just then, I spotted a small nursery right next to the Forest Department area. Upon speaking with the person in charge, I learned that he sold various types of saplings at very affordable prices. His collection included flowering plants, fruit trees, succulents, indoor plants, and ornamental foliage plants—all of which were visually striking and excellent for home décor.

There were some sapodilla seedlings here, as well as small ornamental plants that resembled palm fronds but were not actual palm trees; there were also snake plants and small decorative varieties that looked like bamboo foliage.

Each ornamental sapling was unique and fresh. Despite the nursery's small size, it housed a vast array of saplings—ranging from flowers and fruits to indoor varieties—some of which I recognized while others were unfamiliar to me. Since I did not know the names of every plant, I tried to learn them by talking to the person in charge.

I hope you all like my photography today. I will come back to you with something new the next day, until then, everyone stay well and healthy.
