Powerful and meaningful post. The personal photos and your experience of visiting the affected areas make the impact of the disaster feel much more real. I especially appreciate that, instead of only sharing your own experience, you and your team went directly to Aceh Tamiang and Aceh Utara to help people and restore public facilities after the flood.Your discussion about disaster preparedness is also very important. Extreme weather can become much more dangerous when communities do not have enough information about what to do before, during, and after a disaster. I found your point about keeping clean water, food, and medicines in reserve particularly practical, because these basic supplies can become difficult to obtain when roads and transportation are disrupted.
As someone from Pakistan, I can also relate to how devastating floods and extreme weather can be for families and communities. Natural disasters remind us that preparation is not something we should think about only after a tragedy happens. Learning about local risks and having a simple emergency plan can make a huge difference. Most importantly, I really respect your willingness to help others after your own area was relatively safe. Your experience shows that during difficult times, community support and humanity can be just as important as official relief efforts. May Allah keep you, your family, and all the people of Aceh safe and give strength to everyone still recovering from the disaster.

Hello, my friend.

Our countries aren’t actually that different, every year, extreme weather strikes at a certain time of year.

Yes, for those of us who aren’t directly affected, the community effort to provide aid is quite significant. I’m also very happy to take part in these social initiatives.

Thank you for your comments, which have made my post so much more meaningful.

Hi @fantvwiki

Assalamu Alaikum, brother; I hope you are doing well. You have beautifully highlighted the real-world impact of extreme weather and natural disasters. The post is made even more authentic and meaningful by your personal experience of visiting flood-affected areas to stand by the people and assist in restoring damaged infrastructure.

You have also clearly explained the importance of keeping essentials—such as water, food, and medicine—ready before a disaster strikes and having a plan in place for the family. The best aspect of your writing is that, rather than just focusing on the problems, you have emphasized the significance of humanitarian aid and preparedness. Awareness and mutual cooperation can go a long way in mitigating the damage caused by disasters. This is a highly informative and awareness-raising post. Best wishes.

Waalaikumsalam @max-pro.

It is in our nature, sometimes we learn from nature about events that are yet to come. Furthermore, we are always ready to recover from the natural disasters that have already occurred.

That experience serves as a valuable lesson in preparing ourselves and our families; we currently find ourselves in a world that is not in the best of states. Nature takes time to adjust, so we will always feel the effects of these changes.

It’s lovely to read your comment.

I had heard through news reports that your country Indonasia is the one most severely affected by storms, tsunamis, and earthquakes, and your post has given me further insight into this. Your views and level of preparation are excellent; indeed, we need to undertake significant preparations to prevent such events from occurring.

We experience extreme weather quite often, and have even faced a number of disasters in the past.

I hope we are all prepared for the signs and natural conditions that sometimes force us to be ready to face such situations.

Best wishes to you, my friend.

According to scientists, if we have to deal with such disasters in the coming days, then we should take some measures in advance so that we can get through the difficult times. I appreciate the activity you shared with the victims of the earthquake. It shows us how to handle ourselves in difficult situations and also teaches us that in such situations we should take care of all people so that they can be helped in this situation.

Yes, nothing can stop nature from adapting. It is only through our observations and experiences that we become prepared to face such changes.

The world is growing older, we must recognise this.

Thank you, my friend.

I found your post very realistic and touching, especially the account of visiting flood-affected areas in person to stand by the people. The use of personal photos and real-life experiences vividly highlighted the devastation caused by extreme weather. The advice to stock up on water, food, and medicine in advance is extremely practical. Being prepared before a disaster, staying informed, and having a plan for the family are truly important.

Hello, my friend.

This is what binds us as human beings: helping one another. I am delighted to be part of this social movement; witnessing the impact of a disaster first-hand has truly fostered a sense of social responsibility within me.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

Yes, let’s hope that in the years to come, nature will be kinder to us. Floods, strong winds and earthquakes have indeed been occurring frequently of late.

May we always stay healthy and remain vigilant, my friend.
