Like every year, this year as well, my grandfather and I distributed blankets to the underprivileged people in our community. For nearly ten years, we have been carrying out this humanitarian initiative, striving to stand beside those who suffer the most during the harsh winter months.

Our “Shaheed Mukul Foundation” is a non-profit humanitarian organization, which has been working for the welfare of different sections of the society since its establishment. We also conducted the 2025 blanket distribution program through this foundation, which was very successful and a shining example of humanity. This year, Professor Sardar Mojaddid Hossain of Stanford University, California, has specially supported our work.

In addition, several other students from that university have also strengthened our initiative by providing financial support. With their sincere cooperation, we have been able to deliver a total of 200 blankets to the underprivileged, helpless and people living below the poverty line.

We have given special attention to the most neglected and vulnerable groups of society. We have included all types of disabled people and autistic children in the shelter under this assistance. Along with blankets, we have also provided them with financial assistance so that they can stay somewhat safe during the winter season and collect necessary items.

We have also extended our helping hand to those in the society who deserve special benefits, such as widows, the elderly, the physically ill, or the working class who have lost their ability. Our aim was not just to provide assistance, but to bring smiles to people's faces and bring even a little relief to their lives.

Not just blankets or financial assistance, our foundation organizes eye care camps every year. There, the locals get eye treatment, tests and basic essential services completely free of cost. Many times, those who had eye problems but could not get treatment due to financial crisis, benefit from these camps. Our continuous efforts ignite a new light of hope among the vulnerable sections of the society.

The "Shaheed Mukul Foundation", run on the basis of humanity, will always try to stand by the most disadvantaged people in society, so that their suffering is alleviated at least to some extent and they can live with dignity in society.
