When Steemians meet up, we sit up. It sounds like a rhyme, right? It is actually a rhyme I coined some hours ago, but the truth here is, there is no lie in this. I met a company of steemians once in 2023, that was towards the end of 2023 and I enjoyed the company of these reputable steemians who were among us like @goodybest, @ngoenyi and @benton3 and many more, my mentor and friend @bossj23 was in this company, I think he just reached his 2 dolphins at this point or was close to. I was actually a newbie, closely 7 months old, and I was motivated, yes, to write harder and to engage better I took home, and this made me better.
Remember we are Steemians and besides the fun, we are going to catch there, more is yet to be learnt, as we all can see the changes in the Steemit platform this season which many are yet to understand, newbie may never know the prerequisite, or what preceded the format they now see, many are not even aware that they can apply as curators with a lower reputation a considerable steem power, most steemians are not exposed to certain info while some are.
Another thing I knowing your steemians, I am not even sure many Nigerian steemians know me, we should know our country's steemians and their usernames so that even on social media platforms like WhatsApp you can easily contact them to get clarity on matters that seem to bother, get a mentor, many new steemians need an assistant.
Get a mentor, let me shock you that one who introduced you to Steemit may not be your mentor and, in some cases, maybe. If for instance you got introduced to Steemit via a social media platform like YouTube, you won't tell me that an anonymous or faceless YouTube channel can turn out to be your mentor, No, in the meet you may be assigned someone to help you especially when you have bothering questions or if your mentor is busy with other students.

Thanks for the mention bro. I'm happy to see that they'll be a general meet up for steemians this year. Actually, been on this platform for over a year and some months now, I haven't seen any of the steemians I know here, physically. We can only chat on WhatsApp where we discuss things of interest but surely I'll meet them one day. I'd love to be part of this meet that's coming up.soon, but I don't think I will make it because of the distance..(besides what location will the meet up be held?).
