Assalamu Alaikum,
Currently, it is a good time for tree plantation. To encourage tree plantation, Bangladesh Social Forestry Department and local administration organize tree fairs in every district and city of Bangladesh in July. During this time, many people buy their favorite trees from the fair and plant them. The fair is not just about selling trees for land or forest creation. Here, various trees and flowering plants, including all national trees, are sold for amateur gardening. Some trees come here that are just bonsai for exhibition. I go to the fair every year and see the trees and ask various questions about the trees. Let's see the arrangements for this year's fair. This is the gate of the fair. This fair lasts for 10 days. The local administration and Social Forestry Department organize this. Here, nurseries from the district and other districts bring a large number of their tree seedlings.

Attractive flowering plants and various plants in pots

The fair has all the attractive trees. At the beginning of the fair gate, there are various flower trees and the stalls are decorated attractively with various artificial things. They have installed colorful lights to enhance the beauty at night. The fair has arranged the saplings of ornamental trees and flower trees in small pots.

Cactus

There are a lot of cactuses available at the fair, many of them have gathered at the place. There are different types of cactus here, which people who come to the fair are asking the stall sellers to learn about.

Fruit tree

Various types of fruit trees are available at the fair. People are attracted to the improved varieties of trees such as Thai guava, coconut, kamaranga, orange. These trees bear fruit in a short time and can be planted on the roof of the house. These trees do not grow very big, and at the same time, many are inspired by their promotion on social media.

Bonsai

The most interesting trees for me at the fair are bonsai. I look for those trees before going to the fair. To make a bonsai, a person has to wait a long time and work hard to change the shape of the tree. This time, bonsai has come to the fair, but the maximum age of bonsai is 7 years. The price of bonsai is relatively high. Many people buy these trees as a hobby. There are many bonsai trees here that they have brought just for display, which they will not sell.

In the tree fair, there is a campaign about the benefits of tree care and planting trees along with the sale of trees. How trees protect us and protect us during storms. We saw a demo here about the use of deep tubewells using water and electricity. The forest department has prepared a demo about what coastal forests are like and their benefits.

Planting pots and other materials for plant care

Many types of plastic tubs are being sold at the fair for planting trees, along with bags for large trees so that large fruit trees can be planted on the roof of the house. Here, various sizes of watering pots and spray cans are being sold for tree care.

At the same time, amateur tree lovers can buy aquariums for colorful fish here. Many people are selling aquariums here along with colorful fish and fish food. School-aged boys are playing in small pots.

The fair lasts for 10 days. The nursery owners here attract buyers and sell plants. The local administration and the forest department promote tree planting to create forest land.
