The Diary Game // 12th February 2026 // Election day, voting, and moments in the natural environment
ٱلسَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّٰهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
Dear friends, I hope you are all well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, very well by the endless mercy of Allah. Today is the 12th, the election day in our Bangladesh. Every citizen of Bangladesh has a holiday today for their workday. And every worker has gone to their village home, to their own land. Similarly, I have also gone.
Although the election process will start from half past seven in the morning, I went out early in the morning and enjoyed the beauty of the village while walking along the road. There were trees around the road and the sunrise was happening. This moment felt very good to me. I saw some people in the village walking and I enjoyed watching the beauty of the sunrise.

I was very happy to enjoy this beautiful moment in the morning because we do not easily get this kind of environment in the city. So I spent some time like this at home with my elder brother, sister-in-law, and my sister; my parents were all there, and they were waiting for me to have breakfast.
In the morning, we all had our meals together, and my parents, siblings, and all our neighbors together went to the polling station. Our election was at the field of Bhandabari High School post office. We collected our tokens and started voting one by one.

To be honest, in my life, that is, from the time I became eligible to vote until today, I got the opportunity to vote in my first election on February 12, 2026, and to be honest, I was very happy. The reason this was so special is because it felt like a festival, as not so many people even come home during Eid as came home today.
At that polling station, I saw many people who were my childhood friends. Meeting and talking with them was a very enjoyable time. Anyway, we went back home to rest for a while and have lunch. Around three in the afternoon, my uncle and I went to the market. The main purpose was to buy fish, but the market was not that crowded.

I mainly came here for my uncle; basically, he wanted to buy a duck, but upon coming here, I saw that there was no market set up; rather, nothing was placed here. Some vegetables were available, and some fish were being displayed for sale. Later, when we asked the people of the market, they said that everyone had been informed last week that there would be no market today due to the election.
Since we are not local people, meaning we usually do not stay in the village, we did not know about this. So, what else could we do? We bought some vegetables and fish. After finishing the shopping, inside that market — that is, the Bagbati market — there is a tea seller, and even the milk tea is extraordinarily delicious. So, I had milk tea here.
If I talk about this shop, I would say it is a small shop, and it is not a very VIP shop, nor is it a restaurant. It only has a canopy on top, and from below, people just sit on benches and have tea. The owner here, who is also the only seller, is a mute person.
I have known for almost eight or nine years that tea made by a mute person can be so delicious. He has been selling tea here for many years and is known to everyone. So anyway, after having tea, we didn't stay there any longer; we went straight out from there to another market. We did some shopping at that market. Then we went back home by van.
I shared this picture because I had a feeling for it, as I was sitting on top of a van. In villages, that is, in a natural environment, I never like to get into a CNG, any bus, or any covered vehicle around. I like to get into an open vehicle, which allows me to enjoy the village and the natural surroundings.
While sitting in the vehicle, I enjoyed beautiful moments with my uncle and breathed in pure, natural air. It truly became a wonderful time for me. After spending about 15 minutes like this, we went home. After arriving home, I ate peanuts and carrots.

In the late afternoon, a little before the sun set, that is, in the evening, I spent time like this with my family. However, by the late afternoon my brother and sister-in-law had already left because they have a madrasa and an institution to attend starting in the afternoon. Still, I spent some time with my neighborhood brothers.
So, these were the moments of my whole day, which truly was a beautiful day compared to other days. First, on election day, I voted nicely at the polling station and spent time with my family. I enjoyed the day in a natural environment. May everyone be well and healthy. Allah Hafiz.
Thank You Everyone For My Post Reading
