You might be right. She also hit her head and came out with 5 different "diseases" and the brake between being attentive, lying to please and so on is gone. She also has no boundaries and no longer cares about the world, what people think although I do believe she cares about me. I find it great to see how she manages, uses her phone like a teenager. There's nothing that stops her except for the lack of a driver's license. LOL

You're describing a man who can be congratulated on gaining his freedom :)
Being yourself is really difficult. We are already used to playing different roles and wearing different masks. Masks grow to our faces )
The person you're describing has his own world with his own boundaries. Perhaps there are fewer social boundaries and restrictions, but living in a society you should not go beyond certain limits. At least driving a car without a driver's license.))

In my opinion, the main freedom is freedom from the opinions of others, which you mentioned. And this is especially important for artists and creators. If you constantly look back at the opinions of colleagues, critics, and viewers... if you depend on their reactions, assessments, opinions... creative freedom disappears.

There are many talented artists, but few free ones.

I think that if you truly want to be free, you have to be as self-reliant as possible, if not completely, and of course, strong when someone knocks on the door. Or just unleash the wolves on them, that's also an option. LOL.
When it comes to shedding the mask, it just depends on how dependent you are on others or... how you can live with yourself. I know I can't do that; I couldn't even as a child. The result? I paid a very high price and I'm still paying it, and yet... I'm overjoyed every day that I escaped this, and believe me, it's been over 40 years since I finally left this situation.
When it comes to art, it does indeed become difficult to be truly free, although many will say they do what they love most, even if it's commissioned, but as soon as art has to fill the wallet, the whole picture looks completely different. In that respect I agree with @ronthhoop that it is great when one can engage in art without having to be paid for it.

I wish you a great, creative day with freedom!
