"Depression" is such a small word, it seems like it just refers to worry. But this one word holds so much depth, so much pain, so much suffering, that it doesn't just ruin one life, but an entire family.

Just yesterday, a jeweler in our neighborhood, who dealt in gold and silver, hanged himself in his house at the age of 60. As soon as the news spread in the neighborhood, no one could believe it. Because the man who hanged himself, Manoj Agarwal, was a very composed person. A cheerful, lively man.

He had two sons; he had fulfilled his responsibilities, married off one son, and the other son was running a business. Overall, his life was settled. He used to laugh, talk, and go out with his wife. When he did this, he did it with full planning. After sending his wife and children to relatives' houses, he burned all his business papers and hanged himself with his wife's saree.

Two days have passed, but his smiling face is still etched in my mind. He was a very strong person, whether it was in making decisions or in running his family firmly. How could such a dignified man take this decision? My mind is struggling to comprehend this.

The word is that he was quite depressed due to losses in his business, but his family and children had no idea that he was worried. It was his fellow businessmen who said that the ups and downs in the business were constant, and everyone knows that the prices of gold and silver are fluctuating a lot these days.

There are fluctuations in the international market as well, due to which he incurred heavy losses. It became impossible for him to recover from those losses. He didn't leave any message for his family, he just wrote "sorry" in the family group chat. As soon as his wife and children received this message, they sensed something terrible had happened. They all rushed home, but when they arrived, the house door was locked from the inside. The neighbors informed the police, and with their help, the door was opened. When the door was finally opened, everyone was shocked by what they saw inside. He had hanged himself in the courtyard of his house. By the time his body was taken down from the noose, he was already dead. This is a great loss for the family. May God give them the strength to bear this loss. If we are feeling this much pain, imagine what his wife and children must be going through. May God never let anyone experience such a day. The current business situation is very bad.
